Legal
Privacy
The short version: your photographs never leave your device, there is no account to make, and we do not build an advertising profile of you.
This site is written guides, a catalogue, and one tool that runs inside your browser. There is no login, no account and no upload endpoint anywhere on it, which removes most of what a privacy policy usually has to explain.
Your photographs
The before and after slider tool reads the two files you choose using your browser's own file reader, draws them into a canvas on your device, and hands the result back to you as a download. Nothing is transmitted. There is no server behind this website capable of receiving an image, so there is nowhere for a photograph to go even if we wanted it. You can check that yourself: load the page, disconnect from the internet, and every part of the tool still works.
What we collect
Anonymous, aggregated traffic statistics: which pages were viewed, roughly which country, and whether the device was a phone or a desktop. We use it to see which pages are worth expanding. No advertising profile is built from it, and it is neither sold nor shared. Nothing about the images you pick in the tool is measured, counted or reported, because the tool never tells the page anything about them.
If you subscribe by email we store that address to send you what you asked for, and nothing else. One click unsubscribes and deletes it.
Cookies
No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this site. If analytics are enabled they run in aggregate, without cross-site tracking.
The app is separate
The Before and After Video Maker iPhone app has its own privacy policy, covering how photographs are processed on your phone and how the advertising SDK behind the free tier's rewarded adverts behaves. It is linked from the App Store listing and published at momentumlab.ai/privacy. Anything you do inside the app is governed by that policy, not this page.
