Every mode previews live on the canvas. Nothing here is a render queue you wait on: you tap a mode, you see it, you change your mind.

Comparison modes

SliderOne frame, split by a draggable divider. The mode people picture when they hear "before and after".
Side by SideBoth photographs at full height, next to each other, divided by the template rule.
Top / BottomStacked. Better than side by side when the subject is wide: a driveway, a room, a garden bed.

Video reveal animations

Slider Reveal freeAn eased wipe across the frame. The only reveal on the free tier.
Tap Reveal ProA hard cut at the halfway point, which lands harder than a wipe on a short clip.
Zoom In ProSide by side, then the reveal, then a slow push from 1.0 to 1.3.

Three, and that is the complete list. A video is 3 to 7 seconds, at 30 fps, with built-in background music generated on the device rather than a licensed library.

Shoot the after with the before laid over the viewfinder

The reason most pairs look fake is that the second photograph was taken from a slightly different place. Ghost Camera fixes that at the source: your before photo sits over the live camera at an opacity you choose, between 0 and 70 percent, so you line the shot up before you press the shutter.
