About

Why this site exists

Every trade whose work is visible lives or dies on a before and an after, and almost all the advice about making them is one bullet inside a marketing listicle. This is an attempt at the site that is actually about it.

100 template pages · 3 guides · Published in Sydney, Australia

A before and after is the most persuasive thing a working business can post. It needs no script, no presenter and no budget, and it survives being watched with the sound off. The problem is never the idea. It is that the second photograph was taken from a slightly different place, in slightly different light, and the result quietly reads as staged.

So this site is about the pair first and the software second. The guides are about matching a shot. The free browser slider exists so you can check a pair in ten seconds without installing anything. The template catalogue is a live demo of all 100 frames the app can put around one, across 20 packs, so you can see them before you download anything and decide the 8 free ones are enough.

We also make the app

You should know that up front. This site is published by the people who make Before and After Video Maker, and the site exists partly to sell it. That is exactly why the free tool here has no watermark and no sign-up, and why the app page lists what the app cannot do alongside what it can. A site that only ever recommends its own product is an advert, and adverts do not earn anybody's trust twice.

What we hold ourselves to

  • We market what ships, and nothing elseThe app takes two still photographs and produces a video, a GIF or an image. It cannot compare two video clips. You will not find a page here implying otherwise, because a promise the product cannot keep is a refund with a delay on it.
  • The template catalogue is generated, not writtenAll 100 template pages are built from the app's own source. Nobody types a template name on this site, so the catalogue cannot drift away from the build.
  • The free tier is described the way the code enforces itThree exports a day, each behind a rewarded advert, watermarked, at two ratios, with one reveal animation. Saying "free" and leaving the advert out would be the easy version and it would be a lie.
  • We name the gapsNo AI, no 4K, no clip comparison, no imported music, and a video export that does not yet honour two of the four comparison modes. All of that is on the app page, in writing.
  • No borrowed proofNo star ratings, no review counts, no "loved by thousands", no invented download figures. The listing has no rating average yet, so this site does not claim one.
  • The demo photographs are oursEvery before and after pair on this site comes from the app's own sample set, generated by us. Nothing is lifted from a salon's portfolio or a contractor's feed.

Who publishes this

Before After Video Maker is published by MomentumLab AI Pty Ltd, a small Australian software studio that builds and runs its own apps. There is no outside investor and no client work behind these pages, which is why we can afford to tell you when a phone camera and thirty seconds of care beats any app.

Corrections

If something here is wrong, we would rather hear it than leave it up. The contact page has the address, and it reaches a person.
